Why this customization in labeling?

I stumbled upon this " Fanta" at a store in Mabalipuram.  And yes it caught my eye because it was unusual.

We all know Fanta.. ( Now in popular notion... as an exceptional case has been encountered, now)

Fanta = Everything of that bottle    -     the Tamil    -     the pretty lady

My doubt was.. What are the Tamil and the pretty lady doing???

Were they even required?

Well.. let see!!!

Product information : That was in English.

Product identification : The colour of the drink + " Fanta " on the Fanta bottle say it LOUD and CLEAR.

Ok Fine.. People may not know English AT ALL at this part of the world..

But, the same argument will apply to the other parts of the country..

Have you seen a FANTA bottle written in Punjabi, Marathi, HINDI, Bongali ???? NO... NO.. NO...illa..
( I hope its a not case of me not having seen much of the country)

So on account of Language barrier.... the bottle in issue is inconsistent at best..

Government Regulations:  The details are clearly shown.. Well in English, but very much in spirit n letter of the regulation.

Then Why why why why why why ???????

What made Coca-Cola made a standard and greatly popular drink to add the tinge of regional customization in labelling?

With regard to the pretty lady.. it is even more intriguing?...

Will find out more and write in my next post...

But seriously.. songs apart.. Why this kolaveri di ????  It adds on to the syllabus.
